Story Book

When young, I treat the stories from the Old Testament as....... stories, literally. Fascinated by story tellings from the Sunday school teachers. (Images of cartoon figures of how David fell Goliath, Moses parting the Red Sea.)

When grew up, I still treat them as..... stories. Or myths or legends, that have lessons for people to learn.

Recently, I read that actually there are historical backgrounds behind those stories. In short, they are history.

Now I'm going to read the Old Testament with more respect and awe.
