Public Transport

Dong dong dong chiang dong dong dong chiang!

Yah! Buangkok station opening! The gahmen is listening to the people. The Transport ministry is doing their job!

"To gear up for the station's grand opening, some of the works being done include ensuring the turnstiles are in order, that the air conditioners are working efficiently, and the floor and walls are spotlessly clean.

The announcement to open Buangkok MRT station was made earlier this year, reversing an earlier decision for the station to remain closed as there were not enough residents within 400 metre radius of the station needed to justify its opening." -CNA

Lan jiao.

What is a public transport?

It is a service that aims to provide transport to the public right?

From my limited knowledge from the Economics module from JC, even if the particular route is not profitable, there should also be public transport provided by the relevant sector. And I think Buankok is not that ulu right.. That's the problem of letting a profit-driven company taking part in the transport system.

And isn't there a Woodleigh station too? Where is that place? Might as well build one in Pulau Ubin or even Tekong, so that NS men don't need to take ferries across the sea.
